My main research interests are in translation studies, historical linguistics, historical sociolinguistics and folklore. Besides English, I also research the Celtic languages (especially Welsh) and French. I supervise MA and PhD thesis on literary translation (to or from English), historical linguistics, sociolinguistics and English folklore.
