Representation of phonological segments and the phonological part of mental lexicon entries. The nature of phonological processes and their dependence on the phonological environment. Autosegmental theory of phonology. Theory of Elements. Vowel-zero alternations as a consequence of proper government. Lenition processes as a consequence of other relations between skeletal positions.
Examples are partly from Slovenian.
