Introduction to Sociology II

The course will provide a basis for understanding society and the most important social structures, and knowledge of the classical concepts and the contemporary trends in the fields of social inequalities and social stratification, regimes of welfare, labour (paid and unpaid) and employment, social control, and all the institutional and ideological frameworks that regulate and direct these phenomena.

Students will get instructions for the use of literature and additional/alternative literature for students at the seminars. Course literature and literature for seminars and tutorials will be regularly updated with new texts relevant to the course content. It will be published at the beginning of the semester.
