1. Reading and interpretation of philosophical texts from ancient Greek philosophy. Understanding the relations between individual philosophers and philosophical schools.
2. The tradition of reading Greek philosophy from antiquity to the present. Greek philosophy in the times of Patristics and Byzantium, especially in relation ot antiquity. Mediaeval perception and Renaissance revival of Greek philosophical schools. Modern and contemporary understanding of Greek philosophy (Hegel, Nietzsche, Heidegger, Gadamer).
3. Philosophical issues in antiquity and in the present. Ancient foundations and beginnings of philosophy, art and science.
