Content of the subject is first the analysis of relation between the notions of social influence, social interaction, communication and social exchange. Action/ activity are defined as dependent on personal and environmental context, goal – directed, on particular resources based instrumental activity (from social automaticity of everyday life to creative act, activity, work).
Interaction, communication and social exchange mean passage to interpersonal level, which is manifested in different relations and actions (aggression, attraction, altruism etc.) and to intra/ intergroup level, where it is concretized in different processes (cooperation, competition, conflict, leadership etc.), which are inseparable from structure (goals, norms, roles, power distribution) – they all together result in climate, culture and group effectiveness, so on micro (social), as on macro (societal) level. Different action strategies in differently structured environment result in different applications (applied social cognition, economy & marketing, health, media, leadership, different communities, organizations, institutions); relation »individual – group« is simultaneously basis for formation of personal, individual and social identity, which is one of the basic notions of (social) psychological anthropology.
