Students deepen their understanding and mastering of modern written and spoken language at a higher level. Building on the knowledge acquired in the 1st and 2nd year of the Japanese Studies programme and with the help of textbooks and manuals for higher level students get acquainted with a wide spectrum of sentence patterns, written and spoken styles and/or registers, which they can use in appropriate contexts. They also reinforce their ability for academic writing.
